It was a beautiful morning for Team Up to Clean Up today and our #StowmarketSuperheroes came out in large numbers to help keep Stowmarket clean.

Volunteers managed to collect over 28 bags of rubbish, three trolleys and even a clothes airer. The litter was collected from all over the town but particularly Violet Hill Rd, Onehouse Rd, Recreation Rd, Tavern St, Walnut Tree Walk, Windermere Rd, Ipswich Street and Gipping Way.
After the litter pick everyone headed back to the Recreation Ground to enjoy some yummy refreshments supplied by Cafe on the Rec.
A big thank you to everyone that got involved and made a positive impact on the town. It was great to see some new faces and speak to members of the public passing by- many of whom wanted to get involved!
A big shout out to some of the businesses and community groups that took part- Tesco, Indigo Opportunities, Stowmarket Eco Future and Scorpion Martial Arts.
